I've been making photographs for more than fifty years, and I'm still surprised by what I find when I look through a camera. Sometimes it's beautiful. Sometimes it's downright peculiar. The peculiar stuff is often more interesting.
Film Sometimes is a home for my photography, mixed-media experiments, and assorted creative adventures. I'm particularly fond of images that make you look twice, question what you're seeing, or suspect that reality might have a few loose screws.
Art School Forever is my creative practice. I keep learning, experimenting, making mistakes, and occasionally producing something wonderful by accident. There's always another technique to try, another idea to explore, or something I thought I understood but clearly didn't.
Graduation is not the goal. Lifelong learning is.
Mixed Up Media is where the boundaries get blurry. Photography wanders into painting, printing, digital manipulation, and whatever else catches my imagination. I happily follow my ADHD down creative rabbit holes, without worrying much about keeping the disciplines separated. They seem to get along better when nobody's supervising.
Running through much of my work are currents—of light, water, time, motion, and imagination. I'm fascinated by the spaces where things emerge, disappear, transform, or briefly reveal something unexpected.
I don't always know where I'm going with an image. That's part of the attraction.
I'm not chasing conclusions. I'm cultivating discoveries.
